December 5 Kelly Rossum performed in Vicky Mountain's Don't Go To Strangers release show at the Dakota. Kelly is featured as composer, arranger and soloist on the new CD.
December 10 Jazz Is Now! presented the Kelly Rossum Quartet at the Bryant Lake Bowl for a special late show featuring Kelly Rossum, Chris Thomson, Chris Bates and J.T. Bates.
December 11 Kelly Rossum Trio performed (private event)
December 14 Macalester College Concert Hall, Janet Wallace Fine Arts Center. Mac Jazz and the Mac Jazz Workshop presented an evening of combo and big band jazz featuring guest artists Nachito Herrera on piano and Kelly Rossum on trumpet. Each artist was featured with ensembles and the big band. Included in the program were Rossum's arrangement of “Summertime” and a new work by Mac Jazz guitarist Nick Grondin:
“La Salle de Salsa.”
